Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Get Involved?

You can get involved through:
– Volunteering
– Fundraising
– Gift donations or sponsorship
– Awareness campaigns.

Can I Choose Which Organization/Project My Money Goes To?

Yes. You have the freedom to choose where your money goes and are free to suggest what you would prefer it to be used for.

Can I Send Funds Through Your Trust To Support A Child Who Is Not Already In Any Of Your Organizations?

Yes, you can. You can also support another project as long as it’s core aim is to support and work with children who have special needs.

What Is My Child Suffering From?

At Dawn, we carry out an assessment of every child and explain our findings to the parents in easy to understand terms.

Will My Child Recover Fully Or Heal Completely With The Therapy?

The outcome of the therapy depends on the severity of the child’s condition and also what stage the child starts to have it. Children who start therapy sooner have a better chance than those that start later. Therapy may not necessarily cure but will help the child to live his life to his full potential.

Will My Other Children Catch What This One Has Got?

Most conditions are not transferable and another child will not catch it by being with the one who is affected. It is very important for the siblings to know about their sibling’s condition and also be involved in the care of the one with special needs.

Is There Anything I Can Do To Make My Child Better?

YES. It is possible to learn the best way to handle, position and take care of your child in a way that will help him/her thrive .This can be done by being present during therapy sessions and following through with the home programmes given by the Therapists.
